Pre-conference Workshops

The AVETRA 13th Annual Conference is planning a pre-conference workshops day to be held on Wednesday, 7 April 2010 at the Ashmore Campus of Gold Coast Institute of TAFE (also called “Benowa TAFE”).
All workshops will be held on the 3rd floor of the D Block.

Pre-conference Workshops are not included in the conference registration fees and are limited to 30 participants per workshop.
The cost will be $50.00 for Workshop No1 and $80.00 for workshops No2, No3 and No4.

Workshop No1 will run from 1100 – 1300 hours. Workshops No2, No3 and No4 will run concurrently from 1400 – 1700 hours.
For newer researchers, workshops No1 and No3 form a day of activities, offering you the chance to learn useful skills and network with other newer researchers.

Direct buses (Route 21 Surfers Paradise – Ashmore Campus (or “Benowa TAFE”) about 15 minutes drive) are available to go to the Campus. Please click here for buses timetables and a map of the campus. Buses stop on Heeb Street, just outside the Campus’ entrance.
